KVPY 2021-22- Exam Date, Registration, Eligibility, Exam Pattern

KVPY 2019– Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore conducts KVPY Exam. Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana is a fellowship program in Basic Science. The KVPY 2019 exam will be conducted in the first week of November 2019 in online mode only. The exam will be held to motivate the candidates for pursuing a research career in basic science. The application process of KVPY 2019 will be commenced in July 2019. Candidates who have passed the Class 12^th examination are eligible to appear in KVPY scholarship examination. KVPY 2021 Eligibility Criteria

The KVPY eligibility conditions required to be fulfilled for the exam are:

• The candidates can be a student of class X or XII from either government or private school.
• Candidates must be Indian citizen.
• The candidates those who want to pursue their under graduation in India are also eligible for the exam.

KVPY 2021 Application Form

The candidates those who are eligible for KVPY 2021 can fill and submit their application form accordingly. The application form will be released in the second week of July 2019 and eligible candidates will be able to apply till the last week of August 2019. The application forms will be available on the official website of KVPY, http://kvpy.iisc.ernet.in. The KVPY application form will have 03 steps.

KVPY 2021 Application Fees

The application fee for the general and OBC candidates is 1000/- and for the SC, ST and PWD categories is 500/-. Candidates will have to submit their fees as without it the application will not be considered complete.

KVPY 2021 Selection Procedure

The selection of the candidates will depend on the basis of their performance in the Aptitude test and the personal interview. The candidates those who complete their application form will only be called for the written aptitude test. After qualifying the written test, candidates have to appear in the interview, to be conducted in January/ February 2020.

KVPY 2021 Exam Pattern

The KVPY 2019 will be conducted in online mode only. There will be a total of 80 questions for SA stream and 120 questions for SB/SX stream. There is no such defined syllabus for the test but the candidates will be tested for their knowledge of class X, XII and first-year syllabus of B.Sc./B.S/B.Stat/B.Math/Int. • The duration of KVPY test will be 03 hours.
• The question paper will be of 100 marks
• The questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology

KVPY 2021 Admit Card

The KVPY admit card for the test will be available three weeks before the exam. It will be released only for the candidates those who complete their application for the test. It will be available via online mode and the candidates will have to download it. The candidates without the admit card will not be allowed to enter the exam hall and appear in the test.

KVPY 2021 Result

The result for KVPY Exam is expected to be released one month after the exam. The candidates those who are shortlisted from the written test will be called for the interview round. The final KVPY result will be announced once both the stages are completed.
