According to the latest update by Karnataka Board on passing criteria, the overall passing percentage has been lowered to 33% from 35%. Alongside, the subject-wise minimum passing percentage for the written exam has also been reduced to 30%. Hence, students must obtain 24 out of 80 marks for non-practical subjects, and 21 out of 70 marks for practical subjects like Physics and Chemistry.
