India Post GDS Recruitment 2025- India Post has released the official notification for filling up 21413 Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) posts. Eligible candidates can apply online for Postmaster (BPM)/Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM)/Dak Sevaks] in different offices of the Department of Posts.   • Candidates must have passed the Secondary School Exam or 10th standard with passing marks in Mathematics & English conducted by any recognized board.

India Post GDS 2025- Pay Scale

Below is the starting pay for Postmaster (BPM)/Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM)/Dak Sevaks. The salary will be revised every year.

  • BPM: Rs.12,000/- to Rs.29,380/-
  • ABPM/Dak Sevak: Rs.10,000/- to Rs.24,470/-

India Post Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

The merit list will be compiled based on the marks obtained or the conversion of grades/points into marks from the 10th standard Secondary School Examination of recognized boards. The marks will be aggregated into a percentage with accuracy up to four decimal places.

The department will publish the list of shortlisted candidates on the GDS Online Portal. Once the results are announced, selected candidates will receive notifications via SMS regarding their selection status and schedule for physical verification.

India Post Recruitment 2025 Application Fee

While filling the application form, candidates of all categories should pay the application fee of  ₹100/-. Whereas Female, SC /ST, PwD applicants and Trans-women are exempted from fee payment. Applicants, except exempted category of applicant, may make payment of the fee through any of the online mode of payment using the link provided for payment. All recognized Credit/Debit cards and Net Banking facility/ UPI can be used for this purpose.
