IBPS will hold an online Written Exam, named IBPS RRB Exam 2024 for recruitment to the post of Group “A”-Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group “B”- Office Assistants (Multipurpose) in Regional Rural Banks. The IBPS RRB Prelims Exam 2024 for Officer Scale I and Office Assistants will be conducted in online mode on August 3, 4, 10, 17 and 18, 2024 whereas the online test for Officers Scale II & III Posts will be held on September 29, 2024. The IBPS RRB exam dates of Main are September 29 and October 6, 2024 for Officer Scale- I and Office Assistant, respectively. Details of the complete procedure are given in the article.

IBPS RRB 2024- Eligibility Criteria
Nationality– Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the examination. However, candidates belong to any of the listed conditions can also apply for the exam.
- A subject of Nepal or
- A subject of Bhutan or
- A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India,
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories listed in (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) must possess a certificate of eligibility, issued by the Government of India.
Sex– Both Male & Female candidates are eligible for examination
IBPS RRB Age Limits (on 1 August 2024)
- For Officer Scale- III- Candidate’s age must be between 21 years – 40 years i.e. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 03 July 1984 and after than 30 June 2003(both dates inclusive)
- For Officer Scale- II- Candidate’s age must be between 21 years – 32 years i.e. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 03 July 1992 and later than 30 June 2003 (both dates inclusive)
- For Officer Scale- I (General Banking Officer) – Candidate’s age must be between 18 years – 30 years i.e. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 03 July 1994 and later than 30 June 2006 (both dates inclusive)
- For Office Assistant (Multipurpose) – Candidate’s age must be between 18 years and 28 years i.e. Candidates should have not been born earlier than 02 July 1996 and later than 01 July 2006 (both dates inclusive)

Minimum Educational Qualifications
- For Officer Scale- III– Candidates must possess a Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University or its equivalent.
- For Officer Scale- II– Candidates must possess a Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University or its equivalent. Besides, they must have the knowledge of regional language and proficient in computers
- For Officer Scale- I (General Banking Officer)– Candidates must possess a Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent. Besides, they must have knowledge of the regional language and be proficient in computers.
- For Office Assistant (Multipurpose) – Candidates must possess a Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent. Besides, they must have knowledge of the regional language and be proficient in computers.

Candidates need to pass every stage of the selection process with minimum cut off marks in order to get recruited to the post of Officers and Office Assistant in the Regional Rural Banks. The stages of the selection processes are Written Exam, and Personal Interview.

IBPS RRB 2024 Admit Card
The admit card of IBPS RRB 2024 will be released 03 weeks prior to the examination. Candidates who applied for the test will be able to download the call letter from the official website of IBPS. The exam authority will release separate admit cards for each phase of the examination. Candidates will need their application number and the date of birth/ password to download the IBPS RRB Admit card. No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall without possessing the call letter.
IBPS RRB 2024 Result
IBPS will release the result for prelims examination within 03 weeks after the exam conduction. The result will be updated on its official website wherein candidates have to provide their roll number and password to access the IBPS RRB result.

The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks / scores in interview for Officers Scale I, II and III will not be less than 40% (35% for SC / ST/OBC/PWD candidates). The relative weightage (ratio) of CWE and interview will be 80:20 respectively for the Officers cadre.
