Students who fail to meet the eligibility criteria of CLAT 2020 won’t be able to apply for the law entrance test. There is no age limit to apply for CLAT examination. CLAT 2020 is scheduled to be held on May 10, 2020 for admission to 5-year integrated and LLM courses offered by 22 participating NLUs. CLAT Eligibility Criteria 2020 for UG Courses
- Minimum Education– Aspirants must have passed class XII or equivalent with 45% aggregate marks.
- The minimum qualifying marks for candidates of SC, ST categories are 40%.
- Students who are appearing in the class XII exam in the year 2020 are also eligible for the exam. However, they should produce the required documents during the counselling process, if qualified. If the candidates are not able to show their documents at the time of verification, then they will not be provided admission even after qualifying the exam.
- Age Limit– There is no upper age limit.
- Number of Attempts- There is no limitation of number of attempts. Students can appear for CLAT as many times they want.
CLAT Eligibility Criteria 2020 for UG Courses
- Minimum Education– Candidates must possess an LLB or equivalent degree with a minimum of 55% marks.
- A relaxation of 5% is provided to the candidates of reserved (SC, ST) categories.
- Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam in 2020 are also eligible for the exam, provided that they can provide the required documents at the time of verification.
- Age Limit– There is no upper age limit for the exam.
- Number of Attempts- There is no limitation of number of attempts. Students can appear for CLAT as many times they want.
- Nationality- Both Indian NRI candidates can apply for CLAT 2020.
