TET

TET stands for Teacher Eligibility Test. Candidates seeking Teacher recruitment should have qualified TET. TET is conducted at national level and at state level. National Level TET is CTET.

Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and is valid for teaching positions in central government schools. Each state in India has its own TET, conducted by a designated state authority. For example, the Bihar TET, UP TET, or Maharashtra TET.

There is generally no specific age limit to apply for TET exam. but candidates must fulfill the educational and other eligibility criteria set by the examination authority. Candidates are usually required to have a Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed) or an equivalent qualification.
