CA CPT 2018 –The online registration for CA CPT December 2018 has been started on 04 October 2018 by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Eligible candidates can submit their completely filled CA CPT application form till 01 November 2018 (without late fee). Candidates can submit the forms with late fee of Rs 600/- from 04 October to 01 November 2018. The CA CPT 2018 December Examination will be conducted in pen and paper mode on 16 December 2018 in morning session (10:30 AM to 12:30 PM) and evening session (2:00 PM to 4:00 PM). Chartered Accountant – Common Proficiency Test (CPT) is organized at national level, every year, for candidates who want to pursue a profession in Chartered Accountancy. It is conducted twice a year, in June & December. The exam will be held at 196 cities in India and 5 cities in Overseas and the medium of the test is English and Hindi. CA CPT 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Only eligible candidates will be able to apply for CA CPT 2018 Exam. Aspirants have to satisfy the below mentioned CA CPT eligibility condition-

  1. Candidates should have qualified Class X and Class XII examination form a recognized board to apply for CA CPT 2018.
  2. Candidates should have also applied for Common Proficiency Course before June 30, 2017 to appear in the exam.
  3. Candidates who have completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in commerce with at least 55% marks and bachelor’s or master’s degree in other streams with at least 60% marks are exempted from appearing in CA CPT 2018.

CA CPT 2018 Application Form

Candidates who meet the above mentioned eligibility conditions can submit the online application form for CA CPT 2018 from 04 October to 01 November 2018. Candidates should submit the application form before 01 November 2018 to avoid the late fee. After that, a late fee of Rs. 600/- will be charged from the candidates.  Refer the below guidelines to submit the CA CPT application form-

Step 2- Students details- Enter registration details, email id and mobile number and click on Register

Step-3- You will receive registration number and password after completion of part 1 of registration. Click on Complete Your profile to fill the address details.

Step-4- Now, login to your account with registration number and password to apply and track your application. Also, submit the application fee.

CA CPT 2018 is an objective type exam of total 200 marks comprising four different sections. It is conducted in Paper-Pencil Mode twice in a year.

CA CPT 2018 Admit Card

The CA CPT Admit Card with photograph and signatures will be uploaded on website icaiexam.icai.org in the first week of December 2018. The ICAI will not send any physical admit card to the candidates. Candidates have to login to their account to download the same. The downloaded admit card will contain scanned photograph and signature on the candidates. The admit card is valid for admission to the CA CPT 2018 exam. In case of difficulty in downloading the admit card, candidates can contact the Help Desk numbers. CA CPT 2018 Result

ICAI will declare the result of CA CPT 2018 in first week of January 2019 in online mode. Candidates will be able to download the CA CPT rank card, result card, and certificate through ICAI registered account.  ICAI will also intimate the qualifying status of candidates through registered email id and phone number.
